Manchester United have been linked with a move for Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios once again. After it was reported earlier in the summer. That the Red Devils were interested in signing the 24-year-old.

According to ยูฟ่าเบท, Palmeiras are prepared to let Rios leave the club in January. And will be open to offers.

United are said to remain interested in the midfielder but will face competition from AC Milan, Everton, Wolves and Fulham. Palmeiras

are believed to be willing to accept an offer in the region of €20m. For Rios when the transfer window opens in January.

It remains to be seen if Rios will still be a priority for the Red Devils. But it could be useful for them to strengthen their midfield on the cheap if they can do it, with a number of their costly recent signings in that position failing to deliver.

Rios perhaps doesn’t seem ideal for MUFC right now, however, as it would be a big step up to go from Palmeiras to a top Premier League club looking to break back into the top four and compete for major trophies.

It remains to be seen whether United will come through, having spent more than £50m to sign Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain over the summer.
